A desperate Olshansky reluctantly agrees to help Marcellus find a wealthy teen accused of murder in order to obtain Marcellus' help in locating his stolen cab. When Donnie Franco (Fisher Stevens), an abrasive and distressed fare with two broken legs, convinces Olshansky to help him deliver his gambling debts to the notoriously deadly and unforgiving Eddie O'Daniel (David Patrick Kelly), Olshansky gets more than he bargained for - including having his cab stolen from the dark alley near the drop. When he asks for Marcellus' help in finding the cab before dawn, Marcellus agrees on the condition that Olshansky assist him in tracking down Lucas Atherton (Billy Lush), a seemingly nice affluent teen who is wanted for murdering a drug dealer. Having dealt with Lucas in the past, Olshansky believes he's innocent, which motivates him to attempt to get to the bottom of the murder while simultaneously searching for his cab and finding a way to get back at Donnie.
